The Amazing Blessings weekly podcast
Each week, an episode of Amazing Blessings is released on Apple Podcast or Spotify.
You can also sign up for the Amazing Blessings newsletter, which will ensure you receive an email with the podcast and downloadable or digital workbook pages for our current study.
The Amazing Blessings podcast seeks to encourage and challenge its listeners by faithfully digging into God's Word to find the life-changing truths available within. Each week, we examine a passage of scripture in context, discuss the truths found in it, and then consider ways we can live it out in our everyday lives.
Our current and past studies include:
The Names of God in the Old Testament
To truly trust God, we need to truly know God. In the Old Testament, God reveals Himself by various names, each showing a various aspect of His character. Join us on our journey to experience David's declaration of Psalm 9:10, "And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You."
If you subscribe to the podcast through Substack, you will have access to a corresponding weekly digital Bible Study.
Praying for People Like Paul Did
Have you ever found yourself repeating, "Lord, please be with. . . " when praying for others? Have you found yourself approaching prayer more like a "shopping list" of requests for God? While the Lord has given us the Lord's Prayer as a model prayer to follow, we also have many prayers from Paul, which give us specific examples of how to pray for people like Paul did.
Psalms in the Life of David
David, "a man after God's own heart" and "the sweet psalmist of Israel," wrote the Psalms to direct his heart toward God during some of the most difficult times in his life. Join us for this study as we look at the Psalms David and the corresponding events from his life - a journey that reminds us that we can follow David's call to "pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us." (Psalm 62:8b)
